Dr. Joshua Jaeger grew up in Northern Minnesota where he competed in both Wrestling and Football. It was during his undergraduate years he found a fire for exercise and the proper muscle mechanics of the body. It was then that he discovered a balanced body, is a healthy body.

Graduating from Saint Cloud State University with a Bachelors in Community Health and Epidemiology he was accepted by Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN. Dr. Jaeger graduated with his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Northwestern in the Spring of 2018. He then met with Dr. Barr and purchased Barr Chiropractic and Sports Clinic in the early Winter of 2018.

Dr. Jaeger enjoys focusing on proper body mechanics and strengthening correct motion patterns to enable the body to heal and stabilize itself, through Chiropractic adjustments and rehabilitation of the body.

Dr. Paul Wood grew up in Southern Illinois and competed in baseball, football, wrestling and marching band. Initially studying Business Economics in his undergraduate career, he experienced a life altering visit to a chiropractic clinic and found his new passion to follow the profession.

Soon after graduating from Southern Illinois University, he was accepted at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN. Dr. Wood spent 8 months as a chiropractic intern at Helix Chiropractic during his final year of studies. He graduated with his Doctorate of Chiropractic in April 2024.

Dr. Wood enjoys working with patients to improve their musculoskeletal health and strengthening biomechanics of the body through chiropractic technique and Soft Tissue Therapy.

Sherri Niemiec joined Barr Chiropractic in May of 2017 after returning to her family’s roots from a two year stint in Seattle. The plan was to work part-time for a bit while she and her husband and three-year-old son stayed with her in-laws in WBL as they were house-hunting. Even though they found a house in Blaine, Sherri still hasn’t left WBL and doesn’t plan on it anytime soon. Things fell into place for her at the clinic and she is excited about the clinic’s transition to Helix Chiropractic and the opportunity to help spread the word.

A lifelong Minnesotan, Brooke Nelson joined Helix Chiropractic in September of 2023. Brooke graduated in May of 2024 with her bachelor’s in Business Administration from Winona State University. When she isn’t working at Helix, she can be found curled up on the couch with her cats and Chiweenie, reading a good book or writing one of her own. Brooke enjoys the opportunity to work in a clinical environment with fantastic staff and wonderful patients. She is passionate about giving every patient the best possible experience at Helix Chiropractic.
